I'm sure you'll love War of the Worlds. I just couldn't wait for that goddamn thing to be over. It's such a fucking nightmare. A missed opportunity and a clusterfuck.
I can't imagine what opportunities were missed? All things considered, it's probably the single best movie made about 9/11.
Well, I suppose I'll have to watch this piece of shit again, too. Only this time I'll ponder 9/11 while I watch it. god help me...

I mean, yeah, if you like over acting or acting that revolves around a wig, sure.
clearly i do

I'm being a tad overly dramatic because it's a slow Saturday. I should watch Collateral again, honestly. I didn't care for it but I'm sure I missed some of the nuance. And Cruise honestly didn't bother me, from what I remember. You may very well be right and I'll eat a ton of crow once I watch it again.

My previous list was off the top of my head. I reserve the right to change my mind. But I really do remember thinking that the performance was flat and then OVER THE TOP and then flat and then OVER THE TOP and the WIG!

I should see it again. I just hate Michael Mann so much.

He's made some weird choices. But he usually turns in an outstanding performance.

Oh Michael Mann is the best. An american treasure.

And Cruise is a star..if you see the names he worked with, is astonishing. Amazing career.

It's so stupid.

I'm not a Spielberg guy, though. So take what I say with a grain of salt.
That's actually one of my favorites Spielberg flick.

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

I'm a fan of Spielberg, Cruise, and Philip K. Dick, and I think that movie is a great-looking abomination.
I guess I just have poor taste in movies. I thought it was a cool premise and enjoyed it.
