If any Aussie's can grab a RSD copy of this LP I'd like to buy one. We missed out at my local.

I'm not sure if its the remastering or that I am getting too used to CDs played in a car stereo where the left speaker is kinda shot, but it sounds really really amazing. I mean, the band live is about as good as it gets, and all of the songs on the album really pop out of the speakers. I can't fully deicide if this is me listening on my home stereo or that the production on this reissue is really that top notch. Can't wait to pop in the DVD.
the live album sounds great.

I went to a 'Walking Papers' show last night.

And OMG...that Barrett Martin is a beast! What a great drummer! Seeing him live made me realize how big his part is in Mad Season.

They are touring Europe and the US the next couple of months..go see this band just for Barrett Martin.

So a little late to the game, but the Lanegan tracks with mad season are pretty good. The instrumental was definetly played during the euro pj 2000 shows.

Watched this today. Fuck Layne for dying man. That guy could wail. I love his voice. And this was the perfect band for Mike...

River of Deceit is a one in a million song. Perfect in every way, to my ears at least.

I'm not sure how you can call the lyrics "pretentious", when the author of said lyrics died from heroin, alone and in squalor.

make sure you listen to the moore show too.

also, i think the 3 lanegan tracks on the reissue didn't get enough talk around here.

Black Book of Fear and Slip Away...god. I wish Mike still played guitar like that.
