I totally understand why people don't like it. I even understand why people would say it's just okay. It's a very specific kind of humor. But, for my money, and this is just me, I'd say it's my all time favorite comedy. When people ask me "what's the funniest movie you've ever seen?" my answer is always, without thinking, Wet Hot.

But that's just me. I don't expect people to have the same reaction. The movie just gets me. Hits me right in the juniper sweets.

"Dry" is definitely not a word I would use to describe either the series or the movie.

Cliche, I don't get. Other than when it's satirizing a genre. And the over the top humor is what I love the most. It's a large part of why the series isn't as good, to me, as the movie.
