It's a really effective formula though.

If you want a movie without any depth or personality or...anything engaging at all, I guess. It seemed to careen between disparate tones for virtually no rhyme or reason. And everything is treated like such a light, disposable joke. Does nothing mean anything anymore?

The Marvel movies are essentially Saturday morning cartoons. If you're cool with it, great. If not, you're going to be disappointed each time.

I don't rush out to theaters to see any of them anymore. If it all.

Well, Spiderman generally isn't my cup of tea anyway, but since they are bringing him into the Avengers storyline I thought I'd see it. Just seemed forced. I dunno, hard to explain, just didn't grip me. But the last few Marvel outputs (movies and Netflix) have been that way. I'm just over saturated

You mean releasing three movies and seven TV shows each year is too much?

Loved this movie. I was grinning ear to ear with the opening theme. So fucking perfect. I thought they did a great job bringing him into the overall Marvel movieverse. As mentioned, Stark wasn't overused and it was good to see so many of the other characters. The PSAs were absolutely fantastic. It felt like I was a kid again, reading a Spider-Man comic. That's what I love about the Marvel movies. They're tonally like the comics I've loved since I was a kid.

I can't wait to see it again.
