Took awhile for this season to get rolling, but it has its hooks in me now. Need to watch last week's episode before the finale on Wednesday.

I would say:
Spoiler: show
Yes, given that it seems he and Elliot had been planning this for some time there is no motivation for Elliot to kill him. Has Elliot actually killed anyone? I don't think so.

I was a little disappointed in 'Stage 2'. I get it, but it seems forced in that ECorp (any large business really) would not be so stupid. Angela's last scene was head-exploding cool though.

Pretty cool ending I have a couple of questions though:

What was the dark army's role in stage 2? They didn't really go into it.
Spoiler: show
I'm assuming they are probably responsible for saving Elliot from the gunshot wound, since he probably didn't want to go to a hospital afterwards.
Also, that post credits scene. Were they saying they had a way to "undo" it all? And what is the significance of the cellmate showing up in SoCal to speak to those two?

Yes, it sounded like Trenton had found a way to decrypt E-Corps's data. The cellmate (Leon) was quoting Whiterose, implying he was there to stop them (or get the keys for the Dark Army) and IMO, revealing he had been guarding Elliot for the Dark Army the whole time Elliot was in jail.

Finished this last night. This season wasn't nearly as good as season one, but it still had its moments.

Considering one guy writes and directs every episode I'm surprised he's getting this out so fast.
