I downloaded Firefox just to make stats easier, so I can probably do 2 or even 3 teams again if absolutely needed.

I worry that if you run three teams you'll take 3/4 of the playoff spots.

If we do the two eight team leagues, I think only two teams from each league should make the playoffs.

Agreed, although I wouldnt object to a division winner getting a bye while the 2nd and 3rd place team have a 3 game Wild Card round.

My guess is the very earliest we'd be ready to go is sometime next week.
That third playoff spot in the AL could make things fun for the rest of us. I have to imagine with the Yankees and Indians gone, the Red Sox and Tigers will own the top two spots. That third spot should be wide open. My guess is the Cardinals and Dodgers will fight it out for first place in the NL, with the Cubs probably having the edge for that third spot.

What's the Firefox trick?

with firefox if you hold down CTRL you can select all the stats in the box score at once and paste them into the spreadsheet
so if your lineup stays the same you can input your starting nine with one copy/paste

It doesn't work with Chrome proving yet again that Mozilla is better.

hmm, a bit of a log jam at 1B with prince fielder and cecil cooper on the roster. how do you think molitor would fare at 3B?
I know you've already had other advice on this, but I had '93 Molitor playing some third base and he was bad enough defensively that I eventually benched him. He played about half the season and made 10 errors with an .868 F%.

The A's and Giants seem like the two teams we haven't had yet who would be absolute powerhouses in this thing.
