Not even an issue. I'm still sour on some of LV's comments last week, and I think D,T is a little too loose with his luv emojis. Verb is disgusting and Dev is a joke. Everyone else rules.
wait what did i say this time
It was everything leading up to, and including, the "solipsistic nonsense" comment. It struck me as your using a fancy word in blind defense of your opinion that Lady Gaga is talented, without being able to offer any compelling evidence towards that.
And while I find your opinions on things certainly amongst the most informed and interesting on the board, they often feel as if they're delivered from a position of already having your mind made up; you don't strike me as being particularly open to having your opinion changed on anything. So then why the hell do we bother engaging in things with you?
And finally, re: "solipsistic" -- It's a message board full of people spouting opinions. The very nature of RM is solipsistic. So to call out that one particular opinion seemed silly to me.
Ultimately not a big deal -- I dig reading your opinions on things, and you've definitely turned me on to some good music and film. But you sometimes sound like a know-it-all.
Oh, ha. I forgot about that already. You should know that when I say stuff like that, I am never attacking you as a person or anything. I just don't mince words when debating opinions. I meant what I said, and if I recall correctly, I believe I explained why I felt that way (as did multiple others in that thread).
My mind is certainly able to be changed about things - it happens often. Being immovable would go against everything I believe in. It just doesn't happen all that often on RM when it comes to art, because most RMers don't value the same things I value in art. Which is fine. It's why my opinions are so unpopular.

you're a mod you could do it
It feels invasive.
Also, while the stonecutters theme was a great choice, it was the simpsons equivalent of taking Country Feedback as your first pick. We'll learn if you're bringing a spoon to a knife fight soon enough.
Why the fuck wouldn't you take Country Feedback first?
Exactly. I'm just saying the first two picks are the first two picks anyone would have taken. So we can't judge your taste until this round

How long does sarge have until he is skipped? Also, why isn't ST putting the current on the clock poster in the thread title?

I've been sending PMs for most picks, but I can do thread titles too.
Trag, I got your PM, so if you're offline when Sarge picks, I'll put it up.
Sarge has until 9:51PM Eastern.
