There have been so many bands (and supergroups) establish and need a drummer over the past 20+ years, yet Dave A was never tapped on the shoulder. If he is
that talented - how can this be?

Dave A. is pretty funny. He may be wrong and illogical but he's a funny guy. Who amongst us doesn't enjoy attention?
I'm guessing the original four of the band decided before the tour if one member got sick they would cancel the show. And Matt would have to deal.

Is Matt a full financial member of the band or is he just a permanent hired gun?

Given that he has so many writing credits i can’t imagine he’s not in on the profits

the way that they talk about him too. Certainly for shows and everything from Binaural -> I assume he doesn't get anything from 90s royalties.

I’d be interested to see what percentage of the bands current yearly profits come from 90’s royalties.

Income breakdown according to accounting.com:
83% from pre-No Code song royalties
6% touring
11% Ten Club shipping charges

They don't count canceled event posters?

Once they learn about NFTs it could be a serious income stream

Dave has another rant about how Glorified G is not about him buying guns. Its kinda hilarious but also super sad.

Yeah it is bad. And also he uses it to dispute how he was fired from the band. Sad that even on a day like today he feels the need to address that in his post about gun violence.

Can we just repost this anytime someone suggests Dave A should come back to play with the band?

I agree. I get why he wanted his side to the story to be known. And Eddie, let's admit it, can be a huge hypocritical asshole sometimes. He made Dave look like an idiot with that song. And what about Eddie's flattery on Kurt Cobain? He loved guns and rifles. But he was cooler than Dave, apparently.
ps: I'll never understand America's fascination with guns. Every time a shooting happens, the same arguments being spoken, and then absolutely nothing changes. Maybe you americans should stop fearing some kind of zombie apocalypse.

It's not the content of the message/factoid that is the issue here. It's the timing. He went out of his way to post it after a horrific school shooting. He interjected himself into the conversation.
Who in their right mind was thinking about the creation of a 30 year old song when the news broke? Or better yet, who was thinking about Dave A's role?
