Re: Black Mirror on Channel 4
The first episode was hilarious. Second one was really boring and possibly the worst episode of Black Mirror, not even Eric Foreman could save it.
I don’t have very high hopes for “Hannah Montana performs Nine Inch Nails” either.

Hannah Montana performs Nine Inch Nails was horrible. Worst episode ever. I cringed for 100% of it, it was like an evil Disney Channel special.

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

It sounds like they succeeded at what they set out to do then.Jammer XCI wrote:Hannah Montana performs Nine Inch Nails was horrible. Worst episode ever. I cringed for 100% of it, it was like an evil Disney Channel special.
Admission time: I haven't watched a single Netflix episode.

Striking Vipers sucked.

Re: Black Mirror on Channel 4
I've been binging this on Netflix. I've watched through S4E2. Some observations:
Holy GOT actors, Batman!
The two most disturbing concepts have, for me, been Arkangel and White Christmas (in that someone can block offspring from you). Probably because I'm a dad now.
Shut Up And Dance is pretty fucked up in that the people complied and their secrets still got shared.
Hated In The Nation ... we'll be there someday. Are we already there? Maybe in some parts of the world anyway (constant surveillance).

Not knowing what the episode would be about, the disdain for Striking Vipers in this thread had me very intrigued. I just watched it and you guys are all just a bunch of ‘phobes.

The worst part is that Striking Vipers was the best new episode.
That new season really sucked.

The episode is Black Mirror's "Riot Act". Shit designed to eliminate half the people watching.Bammer wrote:Not knowing what the episode would be about, the disdain for Striking Vipers in this thread had me very intrigued. I just watched it and you guys are all just a bunch of ‘phobes.
