I'm going to see them next week so I hope that's not the case.

I'm not complaining about last night in particular, I just see this pitching staff as a whole as a fatal flaw.

That game today was 7 innings of frustration surrounded by 2 innings of insanity.

There's something about Anaheim. Thought right back to '86 ALCS.

I didn't watch last night's game, but I woke up to see all the best guys defending Farrell on Twitter, so I know whose fault it was.

Well, Farrell for leaving Price in, but I didn't watch the game like I said. Generally when all those guys take to defending him en made its because he has cost them the game with poor decision making.

He's a really, really awful in-game manager, that's for sure.

It's kind of funny. Jays fans were pissed when he left because he basically spent two years trying to go to Boston and describing it as his dream job and stuff, which is a pretty damn unprofessional way to treat the team that gave you you're first chance as a manager and only perpetuates the Red Sox/Boston media's sense of entitlement. But at the same time, it was a relief because he was terrible.

"Red Sox/Boston media" implies that those are sperate entities. I don't know you Canadians do it, but in this town, the media and the players' checks are signed by the same guy.

Boston media- everything is happy and great until a player is about to leave and then mysterious character issues crop up and negative stories about said player with quotes from anonymous sources conveniently start to emerge and then he gets traded and it was all his own damn fault.
Toronto media - everything is falling apart at all times and stories are constantly coming out about mysterious character issues with quotes from anonymous sources until he's about to leave and then every journalist in the country writes a story about how the media was unfair to him and ran him out of town.
