Yeah, so much is getting compressed that it's making me want the book more. I suddenly started a re-read out of nowhere and I'm only 25% through GoT, but I'm sure I'll finish the full series before WoW comes out.

Yeah, it's a completely different text. I'm bouncing around some ideas for a paper on it and for a while I was thinking it could treat the show and books as interconnected texts--but as they diverge more and more, it'd be tough to address both.
