I'm listening to this on Tidal and he's making a lot of changes - not just "Famous" and "Wolves". "Feedback" sounds all fucked up now. I don't like any of these changes (except "Wolves"). Sigh.

Holy fuck, this song is out of this world. This would have been one of the very best on TLOP if it made the album.

I read that it's supposed to be on Turbo Grafx 16.

Yeah, and listening to the lyrics it was clearly made after TLOP. Or, at least the lyrics were.

There are like six versions at this point.

Gave Saint Pablo a listen - his lyrical flow is rubbish. He's past his prime - think he peaked on his first two albums

Is this new version an april fools joke? I honestly can't tell. I'm glad I've kept the other versions.
The end of 30 hours is now unlistenable.

LOL juts noticed this - 2016.04.02 Release"
the off beat vocal track on 30 hours got fixed
if there are other differences they are unknown as of now

I'm just going to wait until he tires of tinkering and then ask LV what the best versions are.

Is the version on Spotify the original one? I listened to it a few times this weekend and it was decent.

More Chance please.

I believe the version on Spotify is the updated one. As far as I know, the original version is no longer officially available anywhere.

My personal opinion:

Ultralight Beam - Original is better. Chance's new line sounds awkward and shoehorned.

Father Stretch My Hands, Pt. 1 - Original is better. I like the choral embellishment well enough, but it fails because he doesn't carry it through to the end of the song, making everything that follows it feel anticlimactic. And even so, it was still better without that touch.

Pt. 2 - Original is better. The subtle background sounds detract from it a bit.

Famous - Original is better. I HATE the line change. It ruins my favorite lyric in the song. And the transcendent second half loses a little punch with the tweaked production.

Feedback - Original is better. He fucking butchered this song. Seriously egregious.

Low Lights - I don't think this changed.

Highlights - I don't think there were any big differences here.

Freestyle 4 - Updated version is better. The added instrumentation makes it feels even darker and creepier, more manic, more unhinged. This song is awesome.

I Love Kanye - No changes.

Waves - Original is better. The tweaked production hurts this song's atmosphere a lot. The vocals are too up-front in the mix now.

FML - Original is better. More minimal and visceral. The background vocals sound out of key and weird.

Real Friends - I don't think there were any major changes.

Wolves - Updated version is better. Vic Mensa and Sia are essential. I don't think any version is as good as it could be, though.

30 Hours - Original is better. Like, way better. The re-recorded vocals suck. Kills the vibe.

No More Parties in LA - No changes.

Facts (Charlie Heat Version) - No changes (as far as I know).

Fade - Updated version is better. Closer to the original version from Yeezy Season 2. It bangs a lot harder. I love this song.
