There's probably something inherent to the male psyche that makes them particularly enraged by attacks on women, and so can never be truly egalitarian. Probably can't be helped. Probably shouldn't be. Or maybe it's just social conditioning. I'll let the scientists work that one out!

In my experience, the opposite has been true. I.E., they are less enraged (Assuming you mean non-physical attacks). But that's just anecdotal.

Interesting take given that there were 3 pages of debate over whether or not I was a shitty person for unfollowing a woman on Facebook who posted hateful, ageist, sexist rhetoric, and I didn't come to anyone's defense. I just chose what my feed puts in front of me.
