I had an interview in late April where they were hiring for three different units. I got a call in early May asking if I would be interested in having my name put forward for one of those slots, with the expectation that it would eventually mean I would get that job.
They told me they were hoping for a start date of early June but they needed to send my name to New York City to do whatever they do, so it's possible the date could be mid June or early July. Now I get a reach out every two weeks saying not early June, now not mid June, most recently just saying early July or maybe mid July.
What are they doing with my name in New York City that takes this goddamn long? It's been like six weeks
