Do you guys hangout and get high/drunk, watch the Sox and listen to Benaroya Hall on vinyl together? Just asking cuz of your proximity to each other. It's nice to have fellowship.
No, but that sounds fun.

If you read this Lament, feel free to post the games as early as you want, to give everyone interested ample time to get their stats updated for All Star consideration.

Man, I didn't even think of that. I should've posted today's results this morning. Sorry.

Maybe the Yanks can come back after all. I wish I had someone else to play SS, Jeter is dragging. Maybe I should kick him out of the leadoff spot.

I'm not sure why I'm doing this the day after I win both games amid an offensive eruption, but here is my new line-up:
1 Snuffy Stirnweiss 2B
2 Joe Dimaggio LF
3 Babe Ruth CF
4 Mickey Mantle RF
5 Lou Gehrig 1B
6 Elston Howard C
7 Graig Nettles 3B
8 Derek Jeter SS

You guys are right in the thick of it. You're tied for the last playoff spot & only four games out of first with over half of the season left.

I have to imagine Appling has his spot sealed. Shoeless Joe might too.

Walsh has been getting his groove back. I'm gonna need some big work from him in the second half.

I think I'm picking the west. I don't think any of the other western team guys are around to do it this weekend.

I have no idea who is performing well for Kansas City, Seattle, or Texas. It seems like Griffey is hitting a lot of home runs, so he'll probably be a Seattle guy. But I think the starters are all gonna be from teams tracking stats.

Actually, if you're running one of the west teams (Chicago, Chicago, Cincinnati, Houston, St. Louis, Texas, Kansas City, Seattle) do you want to just post or PM to me who your two best players so far are? The rosters are big enough that there should be room for all of them. Here's what I've got so far. If you beg to differ on who I have from your team, just tell me...

CHC - Wilson, Sosa
CWS - Appling, Jackson
CIN - Luque, Rose
HOU -
KC -
SEA - Griffey
STL - Hornsby, O'Neill
TEX -

Thanks.

I am 3 days behind on stats, but Hornsby is 100% my #1, and I am about 95% sure O'Neill is my #2.
