I have a soft spot for some of their albums. I never really listen to them, though

my paganism is the closest thing I'll ever get to being Irish but heck you are absolutely rightbodysnatcher wrote:This feels oddly like a dime postMs Harmless wrote:this forum is so old that when I wrote "Metallica sucks" in here it felt like a hot take

Here’s the thing, and I am one to argue against the grain just cause...but Metallica was great at least from Kill ‘Em All through And Justice For All and I can hear arguments for the black album (though when I went back and revisited it, it did not age well for me). After the Black album, I just didn’t like the direction at all and I never went back. They sort of morphed from a metal band leading the charge to a metal band following the times and losing relevance as a result.dimejinky99 wrote:bodysnatcher wrote:This feels oddly like a dime postMs Harmless wrote:this forum is so old that when I wrote "Metallica sucks" in here it felt like a hot take

I have no feelings either way about Metallica
I agree. But try Death Magnetic.liebzz wrote:Here’s the thing, and I am one to argue against the grain just cause...but Metallica was great at least from Kill ‘Em All through And Justice For All and I can hear arguments for the black album (though when I went back and revisited it, it did not age well for me). Don't do this unless you want your lifestyle to determine your deathstyle.Leatherhead wrote:I agree. The Roots are amazing. I mean I don’t know where to begin on their fusing of jazz and hip hop and what it’s meant for the genre.tragabigzanda wrote:The Roots are very boring
