I'm not a huge fan of Turner as an actor. I wouldn't say she's dogshit. She got a lot better as GoT went on and she really brings it toward the end.

I mostly just think it's an interesting choice, not one I saw coming.

Alright, so far for Turner endorsements we have Veggie who has never seen her act outside of a shitty X Men movie and Joe who thinks it's "interesting".

Why do you even bother typing this shit?

Peter Thomas was the best narrator in television history.

I've been watching Parks and Recreation and it makes me happy. I remember trying the first episode when it came out and dismissed it as a Office rip off but I'm really glad I gave it another chance.

Many of us here are of the opinion that it is superior to The Office.

The first season is a little rough, but once Amy got a handle on her character (and it wasn't just female season 1 Michael Scott) they were off to the races.

I'd rank the holy NBC comedy trinity of the aughts -

30 Rock
Parks and Rec
The Office

I've been watching a lot of 30 Rock lately, and that ranking looks about right.

Is Futurama to blame for the decline in quality of The Simpsons? The first season of Futurama coincides with the 10th season of The Simpsons - exactly when The Simpsons begins to decline.

Did Matt Groening shift his focus to Futurama and neglect The Simpsons?

The thing is Matt Groening has very little to do with what made the Simpsons great in their heyday

Sure he created the show but it was an extremely talented team of writers that were responsible for the best stuff. The unfiltered "Matt Groening version of The Simpsons" is only the first two seasons, when he was the showrunner. They're also the two weakest seasons of the golden era.

Anyway, no, I think Al Jean is to blame
