Which one of the following things happened in Argentina this week? No Googling please.
a) In protest to an unpopular government policy, a national television channel ran the same anti-government program for over 48 hours. It included a catchy song adapted from a futbol stadium chant.
b) After a hotly contested futbol match, a fight broke out where a mother of three was caught on film successfully beating up two men at the same time. She instantly became a meme sensation and is now a national star and doing the talk-show rounds.
c) Police managed to stumble across a former public official attempting to bury bags filled with 9 million US dollars in dirty cash and jewelry outside a convent in the middle of the night. He was packing heat as well.
d) All of the above
Jesus, excitable skim-readers are getting ridiculous.
Yale sigs are worth 10,000 peasant signatures, though.

In a related message, sent through the Kik Messenger app, Figueroa allegedly told him: “I want to have sex with you.”
The boy responded with: “OK IDC (I don’t care).”

A GoFundMe account called “Justice for Stephannie” sought to raise $4,000 for Figueroa, but was shut down for violating the site’s terms of use.
One invalid use of the site is defending or supporting anyone alleged to be involved in criminal activity. GoFundMe has refunded the $15 that were raised off the page, a spokesman told HuffPost.
Tyler told Channel 3 he has no hatred in his heart for "people of color." He says the sign's message is that America should go back to a "1960s, Ozzie and Harriet, Leave it to Beaver time when there were no break-ins; no violent crime; no mass immigration."
yea, okay. Cause the 60's were great for people of color.
These people can't be fucking serious, right?

Yes, they are absolutely serious. I had a good friend who went from being reasonably liberal to a flaming flat-earther/creationist in a matter of years because other members of his family did. Eventually the entire family converted like dominoes. They believe the most ridiculous shit you could possibly imagine, and to make matters worse they are extremely over-confident and arrogant by nature, so they are constantly laughing at dissents and questioning people's "logic". Eventually I just had to cut the cord, because you can only withstand so much crazy. It's sad and nauseating that people so seemingly intelligent could be hoodwinked like that. You wouldn't know they were batshit crazy by having a regular conversation with them - that might be the scariest thing of all. I guess that's the main goal of every religion and every cult though. They take common sense and what comes naturally to people and then gradually wipe it away and replace it with something else. That was how Charlie Manson was able to get college chicks to murder people for no reason. And that is why so many Americans believe that the earth is flat and 2,000 years old. Sad but true.
