That would certainly be entertaining. But I don't think I'd wish to put LV through that.

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

The Toy Story series has never done it for me either, it's weird.LoathedVermin72 wrote:No, I’m an adult. They are cartoon toys. Watched Darkest Hour the other day. Was this movie filmed in a smoke making factory?

The Florida Project.
I love the framing, the cinematography, the acting..it was actually taking me somewhere and then...that ending. So safe. So out of place.
Im disappointed specially because i love Sean Baker's work.

Oh man, the ending wrecked me. I'm not sure what was so "safe" about it. Especially in context. But I'm super bummed that it didn't work for you. I know you were excited for the film.

I still liked the movie though. Baker is one of the best for sure. He has the vision.durdencommatyler wrote:Oh man, the ending wrecked me. I'm not sure what was so "safe" about it. Especially in context. But I'm super bummed that it didn't work for you. I know you were excited for the film.

The Purge - Election Year. Not sure what I expected. It was passable

I see what you mean but I think it worked. It was the message and power behind rusty very juxtaposition that was so meaningful and impactful to me.VinylGuy wrote:I still liked the movie though. Its still a wonderful movie, a triumph of aesthetics and an incredible way to handle a cast.durdencommatyler wrote:I see what you mean but I think it worked. Re: What movies are you watching?
It's a weird movie. I really liked it when I saw it, but the more I think about it the more conflicted I am about it. There are some strange tonal shifts that just do not work
