Just saying it and putting a link doesn’t make it so. There’s no question that no matter the result of the popular vote that the electoral vote will come down to a few states within a margin of a few thousand votes, and it’s likely to be played out in Michigan, Wisconsin, Iowa, Pennsylvania, Nevada, Colorado, Florida, North Carolina, and Virginia. The idea that anything remarkable is happening, en masse, is a foolish attempt to write the script before it is written. This election next year will be a referendum on Trump, impeachment or not. It’s important to see some sanity in the midst of the constant propaganda machine on either side spewing any nonsense regarding a large demographic shift from any particular group.
I don’t know whether there will be a change of heart from 2018 to 2020, but if people are locked in, the midterms demonstrated that Trump will have a fight on his hands no matter the nominee. There’s also a strong chance that the electorate could very well decide they are exhausted of Trump, particularly because more than ever before, it’s always some melodrama going on with him or another, be it scandal, improper conduct on the world stage, or sowing domestic division. But hey, you never know in the end with those couple of thousand voters.

The MSM has no interest in reporting facts when it comes to the president. I’ll have to find it, but a recent study showed that something like 96% of MSM coverage of the president has a negative slant. The media is incredibly biased and has zero interest in the truth. In reality it is a propaganda machine for liberal ideology.
There are reputable, conservative-leaning sites with journalistic integrity. I rarely see you link to those, nor do you typically respond to fact-based posts from other users on the board.

I think it comes down to Trump being such a polarizing figure. I voted conservative until about 2004. I served in combat in 3 theaters and grew up in a conservative family. But at some point some things happened and I had an open mind and became more center-left I guess? But I don't remember there being such strong opinionated sides for Bush, Clinton, or Bush? Maybe I just didn't pay enough attention.

Your second sentence contradicts the first!

This from December 3rd:
The new Emerson poll puts Trump at 35 percent with black voters and 38 percent with Hispanics. “If you add in Asian voters at 28 percent approval,” notes Emerson’s director of polling Spencer Kimball, “our number is very close to the new Marist poll,” which finds Trump’s approval at 33 percent among non-white voters. A recent RasmussenReports poll has Trump support among black voters at 34 percent, and even the new CNN poll has Trump’s approval among non-white voters at 26 percent.
Why is losing black voters by a two-to-one margin something to shout about? Because if Donald Trump came anywhere close to those numbers on Election Day, he’d likely win a 50-state sweep. Minority voters — and black voters in particular — are an absolutely vital part of the Democratic base. And they don’t vote for Republicans, particularly for president.
Gallup's polling over dozens and dozens of polls for nearly three years has had Trump's approval rating among black voters hovering around 10%. The one Emerson poll that leads this story interviewed 67 black people. This is why polling averages matter. You'd need to see dozens of new polls over the course of many weeks/months before anyone would realistically start worrying about those numbers changing so drastically.

The #WalkAway movement is real. The African American community is leaving the Democrat Party. Even with the media and white liberals telling them that Trump is racist at every opportunity, they are seeing through the lies and leftist hate.

Trump sure has done an impressive job at chipping away at that margin among black voters from D+87 to D+80...
EDIT: Bleh, missed an entire page and a half. Stupid me.

Honestly, it seems like the opposite is true. You talk a lot about how much you love pwning the libs. You've said one of your favorite things about Trump is the way he pwns the libs.
Are you sure it's not that you just can't handle a single person being a liberal?

I would go further and say that most of the regular posters in the history of this forum (and I include myself in this) do not subscribe to a narrow, binary ideological worldview. That's why I think this forum is at its best when we're actually debating about those issues that make us unique and different.
