I have generally enjoyed the show but the shiny newness is wearing off a bit with these last couple of episodes and I am just wondering where this all goes? It reminds of something from the 80's like the A-Team where each week is irrelevant to the next, but they developed characters on that show, and I am not sure that isn't the major problem a lot of fans have with TFA into Last Jedi. No connective tissue-between stories or the audience and the characters.
My hope is that Baby Yoda was created by Palpatine along with Anakin while tinkering with immortality. More likely he is just a last Yoda standing of the species that some sith fanboy is trying to get to try and resurrect or clone Palpatine leading into Rise of Skywalker.
Not sure what the best end result for Baby Yoda or Mando are though....
Also, how do those trackers work on Baby Yoda?

Do you think Baby Yoda has seen The Mandalorian without his helmet?

Star Wars 101
And honestly not something I give a good tin shit about in SW in general or this show specifically. I know it's bugging others and I totally understand that. But this franchise has never been built on logic. It's soft sci-fi/fantasy. None of this shit has a good reason.

So, I'm about half way through Ep 5 (The Gunslinger) and other than being reference overload, I don't see what so terrible about it yet. Maybe the discourse set a low enough bar that I'm pleasantly surprised? Maybe I just need to get to the end?
The dialogue continues to underwhelm and Sedaris is ... weird. I'm not decided how I feel about her in this yet.

One of the creatures n the cells was the same species as the four armed Allen Rio in Solo. Voiced in the film by favreau

no, but full on jacking sure. he leaves the helmet on for that.
watched E6 yesterday and there really wasn't anything to like about any of the characters. I mean, I like The Kurgan well enough but just too much bro anger. Bill Burr is whatever. Both Twis were terrible. Moss was the only one I liked and he was a robot.
WTF was up with the ending? "is it a tracker" "seems like a tracker" "yup it's a tracker" *proceeds to blow the hell out of the tracker*

Can't be the same dude. Rio died in Solo which takes place WELL before Mando.
