It's been a while, so help me out: doesn't Jaime also know about Cersei's affairs by the time he goes to the Riverlands in the books?

I just made that post, and then deleted it to get the complete quote.
Well, here I am so.
Cersei is a lying whore, she's been fucking Lancel and Osmund Kettleblack and probably Moon Boy for all I know.

Every single episode this season has had a reference to Cat and/or something to set up LSH. If it doesn't happen, how fucking pissed will you guys be?

I love and hate (equally) how little faith you have in this TV show, Pete.

I mean, I still enjoy watching the show. But the second I start thinking about what I actually saw, I hate it.

Steve Albini wrote:Whenever there's active promotion on the part of somebody else, whenever I see somebody all dolled up for a fancy photograph and someone's handing out flyers or whenever there's active promotion for something like that, as an imposition on my day, I hate all those people and I want them to fail. I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

Sure, it's possible. But it's far more likely that George RR Martin just hasn't gotten there yet because he has to juggle 1 billion plots and also for a writer he sure seems to hate writing.tragabigzanda wrote:I'd be unhappy, though it's sort of silly considering that (to my understanding) she is not developed beyond her initial appearance in ASOS. Littlefinger was at the tourney at Harrenhal and implied through facial cues that he knew more to the story than what Sansa believes

Sure, but so were a bunch of other people and they don't/didn't know Jon's true parentage.Mecca wrote:Littlefinger was at the tourney at Harrenhal and implied through facial cues that he knew more to the story than what Sansa believes

Littlefinger deals in secrets. I'm not going to be surprised that he knows things others don't. That's kinda his thing.

I imagine he doesn't know Jon's parentage, but rather that Rhegar didn't "kidnap" Lyanna.Monkey_Driven wrote:Sure, but so were a bunch of other people and they don't/didn't know Jon's true parentage.Mecca wrote:Littlefinger was at the tourney at Harrenhal and implied through facial cues that he knew more to the story than what Sansa believes

I would imagine that Benjen (and Bran) is the most likely person to tell Jon. If Ned told anyone, I'd would think it would be his only remaining sibling.

Yeah, but I'm sure a lot of Targ loyalists buy that version of the story.Simple Torture wrote:I imagine he doesn't know Jon's parentage, but rather that Rhegar didn't "kidnap" Lyanna.Monkey_Driven wrote:Sure, but so were a bunch of other people and they don't/didn't know Jon's true parentage.Mecca wrote:Littlefinger was at the tourney at Harrenhal and implied through facial cues that he knew more to the story than what Sansa believes

Doubtful, since we know Ned would never break a promise; it's one of the only absolutes in the entire ASOIF universe. I am convinced the only other person who knows is Howland Reed.Zantac Junkie wrote:I would imagine that Benjen (and Bran) is the most likely person to tell Jon. Yep. He wouldn't even tell Catelyn which would have made Jon's life immensely easier.Simple Torture wrote:Doubtful, since we know Ned would never break a promise; it's one of the only absolutes in the entire ASOIF universe.
