I figured we would be supporting hospitalists who are asked to help out in the ED. I really didn't expect it to become an 'urgent weekend training' scenario quite so soon. It's amazing to think that the ED is already straining as bad as what that implies.

I wonder if I'm just gonna be on a 7 day workweek for a while.

i have been reading a lot of stories today posted by people in italy. very grim.

i know someone who is in the ER in San Francisco and they said it is very bad. 'this is not the flu'

this seems like it will probably get way worse before it gets better

then i saw what an overloaded ER looks like

it won't affect most of us, hopefully

but it is real

and old people don't deserve to die, just because they are old

my kids’ schools are closed until after spring break in early April. They have “on-line classes” until then.
