I've been thinking this, too. And while it doesn't register as much now that I know the song is really good, this bareness from the teaser clips we had made me nervous we were about to get several minutes of paper-thin music. Still, I'd like that very first impression to feel a bit more dense.

To me, the delivery is kind of wonderfully slurred. Reminds me of a similar delivery (to my ears) that I love coming out of Force of Nature's bridge, "Last I saw..."

I loved this tune the firat couple days of listening but now i wonder if its wearing on me musically (and one line in the lyrics). It might not become timeless to me like NAIS, RA and others. Is it one of those tunes that will keep me hooked long term once im able to listen to it on something other thsn my phone's speaker? I'm not sure if it has enough guitar to not wear off for me but its one i think i will still like instead of skip.

Lol. I'm in the middle of relocating. My home stereo is all apart. My soon to be ex stole my laptop. I guess i could go out and buy some good headphones to use with my phone.

Ed's delivery all over this song is so bananas. It is some of his best work, and probably my favorite Ed moment since Do The Evolution. The more I listen to it the music is so elementary on this track. This is a testament to the production it isn't thin or sparse just elementary. I wonder what fixing BoB would have done? I do feel like it misses some colors not having Stone doing what he does best adding texture and depth. I really dig it.

My dad's name is jerry. So im one of Jerry's Kids! My life is crazy but i dont think i could bring myself to write an autobiography on here.

Im wondering if they were so obsessed with dotc being a single for this generation they kept the guitar (which does sound good) in it to a bare minimum.

If you open a music player with an EQ and turn down all the bars except for"4k", thats what phone music sounds like to me

I still remember a few things from the old forum. Last time i posted was around the release of LB. Someone used to give me static on a regular basis but i forgot his screen name. He referrred to some of my posts as "his greatest hits". I also used to post about instrumental rock. Someone else liked it. I think it was burtrenalds, who i see is still here. I remember stip too, i think.
