Sorta White Stripes-y. But a little groovy and hip-hoppy also. I'm not a huge fan. But I've heard both of their other albums and really enjoy them. I really should buy those records. My friend introduced me when I was low on cash.

Yeah, they're one of the few rock bands around anymore. They're cool and fun.

I should clarify, when I say I'm "not a huge fan" I don't mean that I dislike them or that I'm not into them. Because I do like them and I am into them. I just mean I'm not as familiar with their stuff as I want to be. But I would highly recommend folks checking them out. Really like what I've heard so far.

I might have to do that

Speaking of passing the time with other music, I'm loving me some Kveikur this week. Such a beautiful beast of an album. I really thought Sigur Ros would go to hell a bit when Kjartan left the band but I am really impressed by this album.

Heard a snippet of Sirens twice last night during commercials during SNL. Guys, I think I'm gonna love Sirens.

Commercials advertising the new album, Lightning Bolt, in stores this October.

They show up right around one half hour in, if I remember correctly. I remember seeing them right around midnight.

Intentionally watching the commercials is really a violation of the spirit of the No Leak Club. Catching them while watching the show is okay, but seeking them out? I dunno.

I saw them open for STP a few years ago in Toronto. Only heard a few songs before that and was kind of looking forward to them.

But man ... what an awful performance. The singer sounded like shit and when he realized the crowd wasn't into him he just started screaming more, jumping around and rolling on the ground. It was pretty embarrassing.

Then again, this is coming from the guy who thought STP put on an awesome show that night so take it for what it's worth :)

Not difficult being a member of this club. I'm guessing a few will fall when his thing likely leaks this week. I will not be one of the sullied.

The fact that there's been "no leak" (no full one anyway) has made it really easy to stay in the No Leak Club.

At least I think I'm still in - what's the go with the EPK? Okay to watch once as it's officially released?
