Is male and female different than guy and girl?

Why even have language?

our medical systems assign us genders based on genitals we were born with; if we go "yeah that's fine, I'm OK with what they assigned me", we're cis

if we go "eh I don't like that actually, some other gender suits me better", we're trans

but regardless, our genders (I believe) should be self-determined

animals are different; they can't communicate to us about their genders (although lots of animal societies have more than two), so for my pets, I don't mind just saying M/F

I’m just curious. I think right now that I am a guy because of how I understand the word currently. You know because of my penis. But I do have some feminine qualities in my personality

are you gonna tell us you like to clean?

we need to feminize the penis, culturally (and masculize the vagina); they're gendered symbols and their owners should be able to decide how they're defined

Would the universalizing or objectification of these forms (and demands to conform to them) be an example of hypostatization and reification, or both?
