Alls I know is it’s close to the Eiffel Tower and we’re gonna be walking everywhere.

Ah, okay. I think my brother-in-law stayed close to there as well.

Don’t be afraid to use the metro. It’s super easy to navigate once you get the hang of it. Google maps is your friend. Walking is great, but Paris is very spread out.

Not that I could’ve used it a ton since we had a kid with us, but I was bummed to see Paris discontinued their rental scooter program. Those are a fun way to see towns.

I was a little too nervous to use a scooter or a bike on the streets of Paris. We rode bikes at Versailles, but only to get around the gardens. I could see myself using a bike or scooter next time tho.

Understandable. I’ve ridden both around downtown Chicago, so nothing scares me anymore.

Disagree. Popeye’s chicken, especially the spicy, is more flavorful and their biscuits are the best out there. KFC’s potatoes and gravy still can’t be beat. I’ll give you the rest of the sides, tho.

my wife and I have always had a tradition of eating at a fast food spot on our last day while traveling whether in the city or at the airport..its just always been a thing..everything has been tasty except for the McDonald in the Sydney airport..the QP tasted like a raccoon..

This was what we at the first night in Paris. Lamb (medium rare) encrusted with hazelnut, a mushroom tart, and a salad topped with an egg that was slow boiled for 16 hours. All of it was excellent.

The place is called Bistrot Instinct, and I can’t recommend it enough.
