Italy and Iceland reminded everyone yesterday that it's a team sport. 2 very different yet equally impressive displays.

Klinnsman rumored as an option to manage England makes me giggle.

At anytime in his life, has he ever been a really good manager? Great player. Awesome player.
I mean if you want to give him credit for Germany and Bayern Munich.. ok. but.... outside of the name value. I don't get it. He loves California, and he quit Germany originally because he wasn't into all that stress.

They'd honestly be better off with Bob Bradley. At least he has a resume. Klinnsman has been alright for us soccer but he's basically just a cheerleader. He'd fail for the same reasons Hodgson did. You need to have a tactical plan and not just throw stuff at the wall and hope to get bailed out by the players.

I keep wanting Portugal to lose. They are such a frustrating team and Nani and Ronaldo are such dicks.

I kind of liked the young kid that scored the goal but other than that.... Yeah absolutely.
I was going for Poland.

Lol. England must be hating that Wales are still in it.

Portugal would be beatable for Wales but not without Ramsey and Davies.

I was rooting for Iceland but France finally realized they have stacked squad. They started playing with some swagger, and scored some awesome goals against Iceland.

Yep. I don't see them beating Portugal without those two, especially Ramsey.

France or Germany will man handle Portugal.

I hope a German defender head butts Ronaldo when he goes up for a header. Then, when he is knocked out on the ground, the German looks down at him and yells "MEIN!".

I'm picturing a lot of primadonna's writhing on the ground over little or no contact. I hope Germany v France is good for whoever gets to watch it anyway.

I'm sure Pepe will go full pantomime in the final.

That was a damn fine match. Nothing went Germany's way in the box and they wouldn't have scored if there was another 90 mins.
France played a really good match but weren't the better team.
