Same for Adelaide, regular tickets are a more reasonable $99.

I got a couple of tickets for this - just hoping the birth of my first born will work around this.

The VIP tickets seem pretty excessive - especially since they're not offering a meet and greet or anything other then slightly better seating and a few trinkets

Is this going to worth it? I listened to that songbook CD once.

Despite his largely lackluster solo catalog, he is fucking excellent in an acoustic setting, especially after the first few songs once his pipes are warmed up. He's not forced to scream/strain over a band like he is with SG. At 50, his range really is quite phenomenal. The show is expensive, no doubt, but I would definitely pay to see him again. Just my 2 cents.

I've never been wowed by his solo releases but the audience boots I've heard of his acoustic shows were great.

I saw him on his acoustic tour twice, and man those shows were awesome. His voice...his stage presence...and of course the setlists, were fuckin A.
Im curious about his new album, but i feel he needs someone else to make music with, so im not sure the results are going to be good. Im expecting more pop songs like Carry On, specially with Brendan o´Brien involved.

Fuck i hate that album.

He also enjoys himself. The crowd yells shit amd he rolls with it. At one of the shows I went to he said, "Are you the same guy yelling Birth Ritual at every show? " It is the opposite of going to an Eddie Vedder show. I have seen him twice, and he was phenomenal both times. I mean, at the last show I saw I think there was a run that went, Sweet Euphoria, Wooden Jesus, and Footsteps. Are you fucking kidding me?

I agree. He comes off as someone who enjoys what he's doing and realizes just how fortunate he is to be doing it.

Just got a pair of front rows to the Buffalo show. $50 each!

That is so much cheaper than Massey Hall in Toronto. The Buffalo show is a university venue so that really helps.

I'm not expecting much honestly, because I agree that Carry On was a dud besides Disappearing Act, but who knows really.

Given that he puts on 3 hour shows a few new songs won't make or break it either way
