This is just pure logical thinking: nothing will happen legislatively, and scared people will now buy more guns.

And 'warm condolences' from Trump. He's probably sending warm congratulations to gun manufacturers and their stock holders.

This stuff has bitten less and less shocking. If nothing was done after sandy book what hope can there be now? And with him in charge.

Major tech companies continuing to not take the increased legislation talk seriously enough.

The "America needs a better mental health system" argument is so fucking illogical and dumb.

You can't really control how people deal with their mental health, but you can at least attempt to control access to guns.

I would like to know what the Pro 2nd Amendment, NRA types think could have been done differently in Las Vegas last night. Or are they willing to accept these type of events are going to happen randomly and every so often with so many firearms legal & easy access to them in this country?

Their solution is for every man, woman, and child to carry a firearm. Obviously, if all those concertgoers had been armed, this tragedy would never have happened.

Once they managed to get through an elementary school massacre without actual consequence, the risk of gun control legislation sort of became absurd.

I mean if the nation decides dead children are acceptable losses, then nothing is going to change.

And Sandy Hook was less than two weeks before Christmas, not that it mattered. At all.
