Ed's the hero here. I think he saves this. Doesn't save it from accusations of cheesy, 80s, etc., there's no ducking that stuff. It's there. But I think it's okay, and it's mostly his work here that makes it okay.

Well, considering their albums sound quite a bit like their live show, I'm gonna say they aren't overproduced at all, til maybe the post Waters albums. Well structured, often lengthy tunes, with keyboard doesn't immediately mean overproduced.

That's what throws me so much...I have no more reaction to it than I do to the stuff that plays over the intercom at my dentist's office. I don't hate it, I don't dislike it, I don't enjoy it....I don't feel anything.
