TBH I got bored with this topic like a year ago, except for noticing the various tactics used by the media, government and corporations to manipulate public opinion (spoiler: it's not fucking good.)

Seems like vaxxed people have more of a chance to spread the virus (since vaccination itself apparently doesn't affect the spread) since the unvaxxed are more likely to become deathly ill from it and remove themselves from society. Right?
You're playing a weird counter-factual here and misunderstanding the mechanics of infection. Spread is essentially contiguous with severe infection, so vaccination is preventing spread by preventing infection. It's true that cases are way up right now, but the three-shot regimen prevents something like 70% protection against the disease, even with omicron (two-shot is down to something like 20%, J&J essentially zero). So any numbers you're seeing right now would be even higher without vaccination. Add to that the fact that mild infections (way more common among the vaccinated) are less likely to produce as significant of viral loads as more severe infections, and you have a pretty open and shut case that vaccines prevent spread.

It's also true that the unvaccinated are dying at much higher rates. But by the time they've entered the hospital, they've already (generally) spent 10-12 days contagious. They've by and large already infected whoever they're going to infect, whether they die or not.

They could start by hiring back all the nurses and doctors that were fired for refusing the clot shot(s). Maybe have a job fair. These things have a way of working themselves out.

That’s around 1% of healthcare workers. Around 20% have quit due to pandemic burnout. Keep trying though, you got this.

British scientists at the University of Oxford examined national records of nearly 150,000 contacts that were traced from roughly 100,000 initial cases. The samples included people who were fully or partially vaccinated with either the Pfizer-BioNTech or the AstraZeneca vaccines, as well as people who were unvaccinated. The researchers then looked at how the vaccines affected the spread of the virus if a person had a breakthrough infection with either the alpha variant or the highly contagious delta variant.

Both vaccines reduced transmission, although they were more effective against the alpha variant compared to the delta variant. When infected with the delta variant, a given contact was 65 percent less likely to test positive if the person from whom the exposure occurred was fully vaccinated with two doses of the Pfizer vaccine. With AstraZeneca, a given contact was 36 percent less likely to test positive if the person from whom the exposure occurred was fully vaccinated.

Against symptomatic infection. Again, the worse the infection, the higher rate of transmission.

I think he's referring to the federal unemployment payments that were in effect a year ago.

Incorrect. My neighbor was a traffic engineer, and a not insignificant number of accidents are caused by unbelted drivers. If you have to serve to avoid something, you can be thrown out of your seat or off of the pedals, turning what otherwise would have been a corrective action into an accident which could easily involve other people in the car, other cars, or pedestrians.

Also, society bears the cost of fixing you either by increased healthcare costs or increased insurance rates, or we bear the loss of taxable income and lost productivity when you die.

It makes me sad to say it, but we're all intrinsically linked to Bammer.
Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?
