The Death of Stalin

Good movie. Dark as fuck. Not sure that was a comedy. Buscemi is great. I think Jeffrey Tambor was a bit over the top, though.

I liked this a lot as well. Loved how dark and matter of fact it was. Buscemi and Palin stole the show. "Comrade Stalin would've loved this!"

Girls Trip. Really liked this.

The House. Had some good laughs and loved that it wasn't quite the movie I expected. But it's a mediocre film.

Whenever there's active promotion on the part of somebody else, whenever I see somebody all dolled up for a fancy photograph and someone's handing out flyers or whenever there's active promotion for something like that, as an imposition on my day, I hate all those people and I want them to fail. I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

I'd have to watch it again to be sure. I didn't hate F4 as much as many did. I do dislike Miles Teller though so that didn't help matters.

Oh god Miles Teller is the worst. And F4 goes off the rails in the back half, unfortunately. But I think the first half is very strong.
