Listening to that Paris show for the first time. Holy crap, Ed (and the band) sounds great.

1/2 just kills it live.

Live on Two Legs II by ridleybradout. I think that's the most I've ever enjoyed Dissident. I think that maybe Ed's voice is part of what turns me off with the album version. This compilation is fuckin' sweet.

i'm not sure there's another song in their catalog that has as wide a discrepancy in performance quality between the studio and live takes. the studio version is just so lifeless and dull.

4.16.03 Charlotte, NC on Sirius XM today

I really love the 2003 shows.

Even Flow even sounds pretty good. I still hate the tempo, but Eddie still has some of that power in his voice that he had in the 90s to make it kind of work anyways. Nowadays Eddie sounds awful AND the band sounds awful at light speed so its ruined. But I dig it on these 03 shows because Eddie still hits those notes. Still has nothing on the Dave A versions but whatever

and she took the "one more kid that will never go to school...." line in every RITFW. I like to scream that line along with EDDIE. DAMN'T!!!

If you think she sounds bad on RITFW you haven't heard her on Leaving Here.

I wish I could find it on youtube but I can't. But she does the "OOOOOH yeaaaaahs" every time and it was so horrible and driving me insane

I saw her sing it and it was awful. The 2003 tour shines regardless. SK's opening sets were awesome, just not her vocals with PJ.

There's no way mjd's gonna like SK. He'll say the same thing about her voice on every single song.

8.14.00 New Orleans

starting with Long Road. UGH. I hate when they start with Long Road :( That just kills the vibe from moment one.

I guess next itll be something like Breakerfall -> Corduroy -> Animal or something <_<. Thats just a guess because of how repetitive the 2000 shows are

Actually they're playing well on this show. A new aggressiveness that's working pretty well. I dunno if I heard them attack Hail, Hail quite as hard before.

I don’t like it much as an opener either.

(Never heard it in person, though.)
