Sorry about creating the RM Strava group, then dropping my two lowest mileage weeks of the year. :?

That's gonna change next week. Signed up for a half mary last night.

I think I'll have a good change of a PR, despite being on a sketchy course.

^^ that looks like fun.
washing machine wrote:Haha, good luck with that. Are you trying to convince your wife and the family to all do it together, or that it'll be cool to skip out on time with the in-laws?
No, nobody else in my family or hers runs, so I'd be flying solo. My pitch was successful. I'll run the race early in the morning, they'll all meet me afterward, and the grandparents get to hang out with their granddaughter at the zoo. Win-win. AND, my HM training plan calls for me to run a 10K that weekend, so actually win-win-win. 8-)

Ah, the zoo factor. Creative way to pivot that to a win-win-win.

Haha, I'm not complaining. Hope you guys don't mind me bringing in the rear week after week.

Good luck on that half marathon. Looking forward to reading about your training. That elevation would destroy me.

Glad you got that treadmill action in, though. Keep at it. I'd love to hear about your journey.

While no doubt developing all sorts of bad breathing, pacing and form habits in the process. I literally do not know how to run. Hence the "can't." Yet here I am, beating on.
