Honest question. Is this a typo? Or is this another one of those words like centre or colour that is spelled wrong in the Queen's English?
This post raised my blood pressure - and yes, it’s one of those.

October 29th I think in US time.

Sometimes in the archives you can view the schedule, but most of the time it doesn’t load :/

First track sounds like it could have fit on Prairie Wind, with a horse twist.

"She showed me love" the 13 minute jam gets some really great meaty grooves near the end of the jam.

I do think "Eternity" is one of the best songs he's written in 10 years. Sounds amazing too. Super well produced.

Damn. what an album...Neil sounds so good. So focused...yeah, i agree that Crazy Horse sounds too much like a nameless backing band, but the magic is there for sure.

Im gettin emotional but i feel this is it for them right? Poncho is not even in this one.

One of the contenders for album of the year for sure.

ALBUM OF THE YEAR
Wow. It’s queued up next. I’ll confirm or deny. Haha.

Live feed: I really enjoyed Think of Me. Very reminiscent of a lot of his 70s work. She Showed Me Love is at minute 10. That guitar. But I am not crazy about the lyrics. Just seems to lack imagination if that makes sense.

Edit: Olden Days - sounded good but admittedly I wouldn’t talk at length because I was changing a diaper.

Help Me Lose My Mind belongs on Ragged Glory. It is the winner so far. Halfway there on this album. I think it sounds great so far.

————
Green Is Blue is excellent. This was more of what I was talking about that was missing in imagination lyrically in She Showed Me Love. Nicely composed.

Shut It Down - and the subtlety is gone. But hey, it effin’ rocks!
——-
Milky Way - sometimes Neil has those songs where you just sort of get lost in your thoughts while the songs sort of falls a little into the background yet the song’s not lost but sort of driving your thought patterns. This is all a good thing. This is also Milky Way.

——-
Eternity - ah, some levity. It works here because of everything that came before it. If I took this song and played for someone and said “isn’t Neil a true legend!?” I would probably get laughed at pretty hard.

———
Rainbow of Colors - first thoughts that I am betting Neil is no fan of Trump, and I couldn’t imagine Trump ever getting Neil. The lines are drawn. I do like this song. It’s got a Neil Young’s Americana vibe to it. And hey, it’s not about global warming.
——-
I Do - I love the warm sound, like you can hear the negative space (or the silence) in equal measure to the music. It’s a really nice close to the album.

This is a very strong Neil Young album and I think his best since the last time he recorded with Crazy Horse. I wouldn’t say that Crazy Horse sounds like a nameless backing band but I would say Neil is really up front and it’s not as organically interwoven as his stuff with them was. But I think there’s plenty of magic there and Neil does sound great. Album of the year might be a stretch but it’s not so far off. Someone said something about Sleeps With Angels...I think it more reminiscent of the remainder of his 90s output than that.
