The more details from the report are discovered the more it is clear that congress should initiate impeachment inquiries. Doesn’t mean you have to impeach, but I think you have to look into it. Forget politics, it’s a matter of right and wrong. The President of the United States should not be actively attempting to shut down an investigation against his campaign, even and especially if as he claims they did nothing wrong. That someone who is, or whose campaign is subject to investigation can actively seek to scuttle that investigation without consequence is a complete threat to democracy. How Democrats think they can just play the politics card and use it to get voters to elect their candidate in 18 months is not just naive and foolish, it is wrong because they too are subverting the intent of those checks and balances for political gain.

I find it crazy that right or wrong is utterly divorced from politics. We expect doing the right thing as something to be done by other than politicians.
