I know this doesn't matter much, but it would be nice to see this effort net a grammy award of some kind that's not art album related.

So first impressions on shitty headphones at work:
Who Ever Said ***1/2
Great start that kinda flatlines
Superblood Wolfmoon ***1/2
Fits better here than a single if that makes sense
Dance of the Clairvoyants ****
Definitely the Who You Are of Gigaton
Quick Escape. *****
Fuck where has this band been?
Alright. ****1/2
Love this song. Heavy Yield feel.
Seven O'Clock ****
Flows sooo smooth from Alright
Never Destination. ***
Stop doing this song Ed. Just boring.
Take the Long Way. ****1/2
Next to Quick Escape it's the best rocker. Guitars are razor sharp.
Buckle Up. ****
Lovely quirky Stone. Really good.
Comes Then Goes. ****
Solo Ed and needed more of that guitar at the end throughout but really fucking good.
Retrograde. ****
Kinda ehhhh front half with a terrific second half that saves the song.
River Cross. ****1/2
Long Road pt. 2......just shows what they can do to a good demo as a band and really take it to the next level.
Bottom line:
Settles in behind Riot Act as a really good to great album. Avocado to LB to me are the lost years and the band that was on a journey with Yield/Binaural/Riot Act has finally returned. They swing hard here and it's really good. Really good.

I got to give it a cursory, superficial listen while working earlier, and was pleased and borderline shocked, especially at "Side A."
Gonna take it out in the car this evening and play it loud.

First listen and feels like the old days were there were lots of thing to unpack from a PJ album
Not sure how i feel about some songs, but the first batch is fucking good.
Ill listen to it again and try to make a quick review.

it flows beautifully, I don't think there's a single transition I don't like
