Sampled all the songs and I'm intrigued. Certainly seems leaps and bounds better than the last three albums. Questioning the quality of the leak, though. Kinda want to wait for the official release to listen intently.

first listen while cleaning the house, i actually liked the second half of the album more. i like the overall direction of the album, but i will need to give it a few more listens for it to fully sink in. the one song clearly matt wrote, and it kicks ass. DOTC might be my favorite. the song that sounds like its ed solo (?) is alot bluesier than i expected. i'm glad the final version of 'river cross' didnt come off overly emotional. some of the twists and turns in the songs are pretty unexpected. i dig the stuff in between the tracks.
