YMMV, but I live in a highly vaccinated area and anecdotally way more people are getting it than at any other point.B wrote:Yes. I absolutely am.simple schoolboy wrote:So, new talking points getting warmed up? Gonna try to pin *waves hands* all this on the unvaccinated?

Five straight days of indoor quarantine with a toddler is really brutal for everyone, but mostly I feel bad for the kid.

My work might be 100% vaccinated. It was 98% last I checked.
Everyone I know who is getting sick is vaccinated, and presumably contracting it from the vaccinated. Screaming at the unvaccinated seems beside the point.

Your kids had a cold.
Hoping you pull through okay if you catch it too, lil guy. 5 ml of Infant Tylenol every 4 hours to control the fever.Bammer wrote:Guys.spike wrote:Just glad to hear the kiddo has energy; that kept my spirits up when ours was positive. Go for a drive to an empty park. I dunno. You do you, man.tragabigzanda wrote:hey bammerBammer wrote:It’s good of you not to leave the house as a known positive. But let’s get real, guys. Your kids have a cold. They aren’t exactly hanging on to life by a thread.
I wonder what KT has to say about this, if you want an example of someone whose kid was actually SICK with Covid.
Obviously some kids have gotten really sick, and I'm super thankful that's not the case. But asking any pre-teen kid to stay indoors, with only their stressed and working parents for entertainment, is really crappy for the kid.tragabigzanda wrote: Five straight days of indoor quarantine with a toddler is really brutal for everyone, but mostly I feel bad for the kid.
