It's a very good game. If you liked the rogue-light elements of Returnal, you will enjoy the gameplay loop here too. The art is going to look heavenly on a big TV in 4k.tree_ wrote:hmm shit yeah i think i might try this tooMonkey_Driven wrote:Looking forward to playing Hades tonight on the PS5.

Re: What are you playing?
I just finished Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order. On paper, I should have loved it. I mean, it’s Lara Croft: Jedi Knight and I loved the recent Tomb Raider trilogy. It was good, but no basic stealth mechanics, no fast travel, and enemy resets when you rest made re-exploration a chore. It’s the only game that ever chugged on my PS4. I guess it was optimized for PS4 Pro. I thought the story was very good. I liked it, but should have loved it.
Oh, and a blaster would have been nice.

It's a 3D Metroid game. I appreciated how much it stuck to that formula but can certainly understand your critiques. Shame it chugged so much on your base PS4. It even needed a first week patch to run well on the Pro.CopperTom wrote:I just finished Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order. On paper, I should have loved it. Re: What are you playing?
It chugged in and out of some cut scenes and heavy dialogue sections - screen would freeze, audio continued and eventually everything would be synced up again. Gameplay was unaffected though.Monkey_Driven wrote:It's a 3D Metroid game. I appreciated how much it stuck to that formula but can certainly understand your critiques. Started A Plague Tale, but was overcome this week by the urge to start a fresh God of War replay (it's been over 3 years) with the 4K, 60fps free upgrade from earlier this year. This game is still a blast to play

Two Point Hospital is a lot of fun.
Can’t wait for 12 Minutes on Thursday. Looks cool.

A little late to the party, but I've been loving Little Nightmares on the Switch. Getting some strong INSIDE vibes from the tone and environmental puzzling.

12 Minutes was a great mind bending puzzle experience. Now onto Psychonauts 2!
I also restarted GTAV recently and I really don’t know how people still play that game constantly. The controls and everything feel so dated.

You mean you're not going to pre-order the PS5/X Xbox Series remaster or the 8 year old game?scrub12 wrote:12 Minutes was a great mind bending puzzle experience. Now onto Psychonauts 2!
