It's a very good game. If you liked the rogue-light elements of Returnal, you will enjoy the gameplay loop here too. The art is going to look heavenly on a big TV in 4k.tree_ wrote:hmm shit yeah i think i might try this tooMonkey_Driven wrote:Looking forward to playing Hades tonight on the PS5.

It's a 3D Metroid game. I appreciated how much it stuck to that formula but can certainly understand your critiques. Shame it chugged so much on your base PS4. It even needed a first week patch to run well on the Pro.CopperTom wrote:I just finished Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order. On paper, I should have loved it. I mean, it’s Lara Croft: Jedi Knight and I loved the recent Tomb Raider trilogy. It was good, but no basic stealth mechanics, no fast travel, and enemy resets when you rest made re-exploration a chore. It’s the only game that ever chugged on my PS4. I guess it was optimized for PS4 Pro. I thought the story was very good. I liked it, but should have loved it.
Oh, and a blaster would have been nice.
It chugged in and out of some cut scenes and heavy dialogue sections - screen would freeze, audio continued and eventually everything would be synced up again. Gameplay was unaffected though.Monkey_Driven wrote:It's a 3D Metroid game. I appreciated how much it stuck to that formula but can certainly understand your critiques. I also restarted GTAV recently and I really don’t know how people still play that game constantly. The controls and everything feel so dated.
