People think Aldi is full of cheap products for poor people, but really it's just a very cost effective business model for people who value frugality.

I've only ever been to them in italy and i loved it

Yeah, my brother visited a few in Germany before they made it to Houston and converted me before I even set foot in one. Too bad they don't offer curbside. We've been an HEB household throughout the pandemic for that reason, which isn't so bad either. Not nearly as economical though.

there is a little one near me and i heard all these great things and read NYT articles and then it totally underwhelmed bc my expectations were too high

a huge one just opened though a few miles out and i plan to check it out

i did love the baked goods

and they had lobster tails for way cheap

but produce was not organic

Aldi is the only place I shopped at when I was in college. And it was my primary grocery source after I graduated and before I moved to NYC. I love Aldi.

Aldi is great. I hope Chris can experience it one day without the need to consume human flesh.

As far as dinner tonight... I'm, again, not so sure. Maybe chili? I should probably make a call on that here in a minute.
