I have a 4k of Demons being delivered this afternoon. I'm really excited to check it out.

"Bull" (2021) - one of two hidden gems I found on Shudder yesterday; super grimey, (mostly) realist and violent with a neat twist at the end; it's very English and even has an actress from Eastenders in it
"All The Moons" (2020) - I'm on a vampire kick at the moment after Nosferatu '24, so I'm trying to find as many off-piste folklore-based movies as I can (I don't like the suave sophisticated campy Hammer Hollywood Dracula); I was incredibly happy to add this beautiful coming-of-age horror fairytale to my great list

Very curious about the news that both Scott Foley and Matthew Lillard are cast in Scream 7. Are they going for a meta horror thing like New Nightmare?
Also, The Faculty is gettin a remake.

Gonna try this one this week. Is there a longer cut out there yet I should wait for or just watch the current version?

Wolf Man.
What a disappointment. Leigh Whannell seemed like a very good choice but the movie is so boring and obvious i was already out of it within the first sequence.

The Dark and the Wicked....it was scary in parts but I didn't like the ending. It broke its own rules and that's not cricket.

"The Dead Thing" - largely a trippy "romance" drama that seamlessly becomes horror when you realise what's going on; didn't change my world but I definitely enjoyed it
"Freelance" - a super interesting premise that got me expecting Berberian Sound Studio or Censor, it ended up way too shlocky and light and silly to match up to either of those, despite the lead actress doing her best

oh I also watched "The Damned" after waiting a while; a really solid folk horror movie which marries the dark and the silly very well for a satisfying experience in the end
