Re: Queens of the Stone Age | …Like Clockwork
^ Possibly their two best songs. "I Appear Missing" and "Song for the Deaf" are also in the conversation.
You know what, never mind. It's a pointless exercise. There are, like, 10-20 Queens songs I'd be happy with crowning #1.

My humble suggestion: Avon.

I think I'd put Mexicola, If Only and Regular John above Avon. And that's just from self-titled.
Great song though.

That first album is something else.
New song is growing on me, I have to admit.

So QOTSA tourney before or after the new album? And should we do Kyuss in there as well?
I’d probably stop there and not do Vista Chino Slow Burn, Brant Bjork stuff etc.

Re: Queens of the Stone Age | …Like Clockwork
I've never been huge into QotSA, but sounds like I only need to check out the first 3 songs from their first album to hear them at their peak. Easy!Ello Sailor wrote:I think I'd put Mexicola, If Only and Regular John above Avon. And that's just from self-titled.

<Edit> Just listening and "If Only" is damn killer though. Nice. Loving "Walkin' on the Sidewalks" too just quietly...

Love Kyuss, but I think Qotsa have more than enough songs to choose from.

Yo ello. These were from that small Newie NO gig. The supporting band won a competition to be his backing band. I know the singer. Crazy. there was less than 200 people there. Acoustic set then electric set full of QOTSA and Kyuss.

Been a long time since I took part in a tourney so looking forward to this LMSLetMeSleep wrote:Almost ready to go.

I'd say nay to Kyuss. May as well throw Emotion Sickness in there since it's out there.
Edit: Oh, it's already up!
