Well there you go, obviously that means he should be one of the stars! He was named a star because the guy picking them thought it would be hilarious.
i know the guy who picked the stars, he thought what emery did was great.
Well obviously. He was also wrong. And he made it clear that he's an unprofessional idiot.
Philly has such a complete lack of leadership, from the owner on down. When Emery was with the Hawks last year, he would never dream of pulling that stunt. And that's what it was, a stunt.

how was it wrong when it worked? the flyers responded by giving up only 14 shots the next night and emery stopped all of them.

Does any act of violence become the right move as long as it results in a win the next game, or is it just for the Flyers?

actually, this not only helped the flyers, but every team in philly is undefeated since emery went hextall on holtby.

It would have been so much more fun if Holtby had gone Potvin on Emery.

The writer who chose Emery as 3rd star has been suspended from selecting the 3 stars for the Flyers and is now being called on the carpet by the Philadelphia Writers Association. The only sad part here is that this is more punishment than Emery has faced.

or if anyone on the caps liked holtby even a little big, emery might have had an actual fight on his hands.

“It was a circus of a game and I found that part of it to be entertaining,” he said. “From all the Flyers players I’ve talked to, none of them had a problem with it.”

:haha: What a dumbass.

he's right, it was the best part of the game by far. and didnt look like the caps players cared to much either the way they were standing around watching.

That still doesn't make him one of the three stars.

So now that they've followed it up by losing to a sub-.500 team playing its third-string goalie... does Emery have to go punch someone again, or was this loss just a fluke?

he should punch giroux for his coverage on the tying goal.

i find it hilarious that everyone was saying (specifically two years ago) how giroux was every bit as good as crosby and implied he was a better captain and all that other bs.

what has he done, other than sign a ridiculous contract, since jags left?

Holy geezes the Wild are looking fantastic.

Anyone see the highlight of Parise's second goal last night? That is jaw dropping, rink rat hockey. Amazing.

www.wild.com

In the main news window click on Highlights 11-5 (bottom of window) then watch the Pair for Parise video.

That is hockey right there. Scandinavian goodness.

Boring and predictable response. I don't know why you're taking the stance on this that you are considering that you've been able to actually talk hockey before, unlike most philly sports fans. Right now you just sound like a meathead homer.
