Game of Thrones is quite the beast because you have this source material that has been around for near 30 years now and there are so many things known/hinted at/revealed because people have poured over it for awhile in the same sense the show doesnt afford you

FWIW I'm not a book reader (well, I put it down half way through #2 because...the tv shows just so cool so I couldn't be bothered anymore) but I think you guys do a pretty good job of keeping things spoiler free in here.

I enjoy the theories and have no other avenue of coming across them. I appreciate that they are however just that - theories.

Having said that I've never once clicked into the book thread as I don't wanna know, y'know?

I hope Sansa is OK. Reek is fucking gross. And agree on the greyworm lovey dovey shit being a waste of valuable screen time.

Depth. Change of pace. Color. It ads humanity and raises the stakes two peripheral characters that I enjoy. Helps round out the world and make me feel more committed to the outcome.

i love this world, too, but this is all very forced and could be used for any number of other scenes that might explain some things that appear out of nowhere instead of growing naturally from the story.

The more I'm thinking about that final scene (I don't want to think about it, I just can't stop), I'm thinking that we're supposed to draw comparisons between this and Drago raping Dany in Season 1. Although their relationships are likely to go in opposite directions, I think Sansa is going to be on the rise very soon. Ramsay may have just "awoken the dragon beneath Winterfell," if you get my drift.
