Ah Owens. It's awesome when a guy gets one shot on the big stage like that and knocks it out of the fucking park. We ALMOST saw the Package Piledriver. He kinda altered it and the end. Which is good because it's dangerous as fuck.

Owens will probably drop the NXT title to Balor at the next NXT ppv thingy. Balor has said he is in no hurry to go to the main roster. I wonder where Joe fits in all of this? I hope we get an Owens/Joe match on NXT even if it's non title.

Idea I had last night....

Put the US title on Owens. If not at Money in the Bank (which I expect Owens to lose) but maybe Summerslam. Have him "degrade" the US title by putting duct tape on it and writing "KO" with a sharpie. He would get some mega heat from casuals. The smarks are going to love Owens (Like Punk) no matter what he does. Punk was beating up old men and dumping out urns in 2012/2013 and still got cheered.

Also, put the IC title on Zayn at some point and have him and Owens unify the US/IC titles at Mania.

Also, I'm probably more excited for the Austin/Heyman podcast tonight then I should be but I'm a massive Heyman mark. What a great mind for the business. he tweeted this earlier. Something he wrote for WCW magazine in 1992.

not sure when Balor will get his next shot now that he is again #1 contender, but i would expect him to be in Demon paint this time and get the win, but the stuff with Owens and Joe could be where the title changes hands. i havent read any spoilers for the next few weeks of NXT so no idea which way they are going to take the title off of him

Maybe have a triple threat with Owens/Balor/Breeze. Have it end all cluster fucky and have the title held up. Owens gets all pissed and leaves for the main roster.

I'd like to see Baron Corbin get in the NXT main event picture. He should turn heel IMHO.

Corbin has a good look, but he's really raw. His in-ring skills are really lacking and he isn't a good talker right now. I honestly can't think of anyone in NXT right now that I think is being underutilized. Maybe Tye Dillinger. I love Enzo, but he'll never be good enough in the ring to be a player on the main roster. He will make a great manager, though.

Corbin needs to turn heel and be a bodyguard like Diesel was for HBK at first.

Enzo and Cass will get over some on the main roster. They are entertaining. Much like Too Cool.

I now think they should set up Owens/Lesnar for Mania next year.

Taker/Cena would be pretty good but I'm not sure how the build up translates. Like why would Cena (kayfabe speaking) wanna do this?

As for Sting they can build up Wyatt a little bit and he can wrestle Sting.

I don't want to see Sting again, his match with HHH was awful. He can't even bend over to lock in the death lock.

As for Cena/Taker, assuming this will be built as his final match, Cena steps up to say he wants it to be him or something similar to that. Basically, if it's going to be Takers last match I want him to be in the ring with someone that can make it watchable. This also gives Cena something for Mania. "Cena squashes undefeated up and comer" is already really old as a mania storyline for him.

Agree to disagree on Stinger. I don't think the match was very good either but I bet we see him in some capacity. Flip side of that I'm kinda done seeing HHH wrestle. Even though he can still go in the ring I'm just sick of him. But I'm sure he will be in a marquee match at Mania.

HHH/Rock is the match I've wanted from Rock since he started having matches again. I always thought those two brought out the best in each other.

I will say, Hogan better fucking not be on that card. I keep hearing rumors about it.

It's laughable that Naomi, who neary broke Paige's neck last night while botching a move, is getting title matches on PPVs when Charlotte, Sasha Banks, Emma, and Becky Lynch are still in developmental.

Yeah I don't get it. The NXT women are awesome. It's actually entertaining. I think Becky Lynch could be huge.

It's pretty crazy when you think about it. A guy wrestling on the Indy's a year ago just beat Cena in his debut match and has had 3 t-shirts released in the last week. Is Vince dead?

There are rumors Vince is going blind. Who knows if that is true. Maybe they are telling him Owens looks like Lex Luger?
