Nah, second one's got a different director, and the third one doesn't have a script yet.
I thought Abrams was doing it all? I thought there were different directors for the spin off films?

Rian Johnson (Looper) is writing and directing the second 2.

Well, he's writing and directing 8 and he's writing a treatment for 9. Seems very likely they'll look at a third different director for 9. That seems to be the mouse's plan at this point. But maybe that will depend on how good Johnson's treatment is and / or what he does with 8.

Willis flicks my off switch almost as much as tom cruise..
Just seen this Kevin Smith video here bloody good insight and also very funny. Seems like JJ is going all old school on this big time with practical effects.... I cannot wait to see it... even a teaser i think would be amazing so long as the lens flare is way down
This isn’t surprising at all but buried in this Deadline report is the news that STAR WARS: EPISODE VII lead, Daisy Ridley is apparently going to be appearing in EPISODEs VIII and IX. (They are also continuing to report that Rian Johnson is directing both VIII and IX, although that hasn’t been confirmed.)
