Has anyone been following the Behringer Klon-clone lawsuit? The original Klon pedals go for over a grand, and now scumbags are flipping the Behringers for a similar price.
Apparently they've changed the name and decal and are free to continue producing them. Still, that's crazy.

Re: Gearhead Thread
I’ve been on a behringer buying kick recently, got a Poly D and a Deepmind 12, both of which sound fantastic and combined cost less than half of what I would pay for one of the synths they’re cloning. It’s amazing how far that company has come from being basically a joke in the early 2000sEllo Sailor wrote:Has anyone been following the Behringer Klon-clone lawsuit? Re: Gearhead Thread
Two years ago when I took on the duties of recording my drummer I spent countless hours scouring the internet for any and all information on this. I was obsessed. So many rabbit holes to go down!coptheriotact wrote:ive been watching hours of video on drum mic placement this last few weeks, only to not to be bothered trialing out anything new with my current setup.![]()

It's fun. Ultimately I think I did a good enough job to have workable drum tracks. It all came down to the room we were in though which wasn't great !

so, a good friend of ours that I've know for over 25 years lives here in Vancouver...his brother who I have gotten to know the last few years is a good guy..he used to own a music store with his dad back in the day..we went to his house for drinks the other day and I noticed a 1933 Gibson 00 hanging on the wall above their steinway piano..it was unstringed and looking sad...I think he knows what he's sitting on but I want it big time..just to take care of it and string it...what do I do? he doesn't know how to play the guitar

once we get back from vacation I think'i'll make my move..what that move is I dont know yet..its a beauty..the black one with a white pick guard that has been beaten up in a good way..just hanging there..Bart, the first thing I said to him after noticing it on the wall was if I could hold it look at the back and the neck..when I asked him when the last time it had strings on it he had no idea...I dreamed about it 2x in the last couple weeks...

I gave it a look over and pretended to tune it to the original E and play she talks to angels...I just had an idea that I might just steal it and put a $250 Yamaha in its place and he probably wouldn't notice for a few yearsEllo Sailor wrote:Did you sight the neck? Lookin' good?
